We're experiencing a toy ban today because the kids squashed up their cupcakes at breakfast and sprinkled the crumbs all over the dining table and floor.

If you play with your food, you are not allowed to play with your toys. You are only allowed to eat them.

Toy ban over because we are at MIL's place.

I must say the kids took it quite well. They are suitably contrite, earnestly enquiring on the terms of the ban through the day to make sure they don't violate it and no one tried to cheat.

I really hope I won't have to spend tomorrow morning cleaning breakfast mess again.
